Tax Relief is possible! There are a few options if you cannot pay the amount you owe.

2. Fairness application

To have one of these options approved, you must have documentation proving that you have extraordinary circumstances and you are suffering hardship, which can be difficult and complicated. CRA will not make a deal with you directly to pay less than the amount owing, but a licensed insolvency trustee CAN work on your behalf and file a consumer proposal or bankruptcy depending on your situation.
